WHO IS STELLA?

BEFORE LITTLE MISS STELLA

Born, bred and educated in suburban Sydney, magazine addict Stella was always interested in the media, and after she ditched her primary school pipedreams of being a fashion designer, Stella became obsessed with all things media and journalism.  Despite this, however, she went on to attend the University of New South Wales and completed an Arts/Law degree.

But the life of a legal eagle was never on the cards for Stella, who went on to get her first media job as sports publicist with SBS Television - a role which she got to work on countless international sports broadcasts and with countless personalities including Les Murray, the late great Johnny Warren, Cathy Freeman, Don Lane, Mary Coustas and many more.

Five years, two World Cups and an Olympic Games later, Stella's media career moved into the commercial world with a role assenior publicist with the Ten Network.  Her publicity triumphs at Ten included the second series of Australian Idol, the Neighbours 20th Anniversary year, the world exclusive special with Douglas Wood and memorable programs such as the Law & Order franchises.

During her time at Ten, Stella worked with a whole stable of Aussie and international stars including Law & Order's Vincent D'Onofrio, Chris Noth and Ice T, newsreaders Sandra Sully and Jessica Rowe, television personalities Bert Newton, Rove McManus and Ian ‘Dicko' Dickson, and many more.

LITTLE MR SAM

But the excitement of television publicity paled into insignificance after the birth of her son Sam Theodore in July of 2006.

It was while actually enjoying maternity leave and spending time with her baby that Stella decided this was the perfect opportunity to branch out and start a business of her own.   This was a dream Stella had entertained for quite some time - and armed with contacts, experience and skills acquired from over a decade in publicity and media, Little Miss Stella was born.

Through some fabulous strokes of luck and a lot of hard work and networking, Little Miss Stella initially serviced a specialised range of amazing clients in the kids/baby/parenting industries. Almost three years on, the demand for Stella's services ihas gone through the roof and the Little Miss Stella client stable is diverse and anever boring.  From style and fashion, to food, music, television, entertainment and sport, Stella is able to indulge in her passions and work with some inspirational and outstanding businesspeople.

Although the hours and work are different and a far cry from the large scale operations of a television station, Stella is excited by the personal attention she can give to all her clients.

When Stella is not pitching, emailing, writing or wheeling and dealing, she enjoys cooking, reading magazines, entertaining friends, playing poker, watching the Lifestyle Channel and hanging out with the two loves of her life- her son Sam Theodore and her web editor/poker-crazy husband Theo.
